Sampler Guild of the Rockies Welcomes You!

The purpose of the Sampler Guild of the Rockies (SGR) is to gather needleworkers whose special interest is samplers.  The Guild studies the history of samplers, both in America and around the world; examines the stitches and materials used in these historic pieces; studies with teachers in order to re-create samplers and/or to create contemporary pieces; and makes monetary donations to assist in the preservation of historic samplers.

Our guild was established in 1993.  The dues for the Sampler Guild are $30 per year and paid in May.  Our meetings are held September through May, with special events in June and August.  Newsletters are sent via e-mail and are posted online for members only at this site.  We meet the 2nd Sunday of each month during our year from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church located at Yale and Franklin streets in Denver, Colorado.  There are a few exceptions to this and they are noted on the calendar.

We are delighted you have visited our website and would love to have you join our group.  We currently have over 80 members.   Many of our members live in the metro Denver area and surrounding communities.  We also have several out of state members. A Membership Form can be emailed if you are interested in joining!  Please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
